Congratulations to Sarge for winning this years contest.
Work on your tone, so it doesn't sound so much like a harmonica.

Congrats to all of the winners and I have to say all of the contestants were fantastic!

I was thoroughly impressed and entertained by your entry Foghorn.

Thanks Shaggy. I just like doing different things with our beloved instrument. It may not win contests, but hopefully it shows the variety of ways to play, which I appreciate them all. Sarge is definitely the best at the way he plays. Congratulations to all of you.

I enjoyed the contest, it's one of the Bean highlights.  I thought Paul Armstrong's performance was the most difficult technically, even though it may not win contests.  And big Leland's train was great.  I enjoyed Penny Lane's little interviews, even though it had to be cut because of time.

I think the move to the "Indiana State Harmonica Contest " was a brilliant idea that I know one or several of the Forum members had influence in. I predict this simple, but significant change will grow BEAN participation and the number of entrants in the Contest over a period of time.

I couldn't be happier or prouder of our reigning 2015 Indiana State Harmonica Champion-Jim McDonald Congrats to him and to all the contestants.

Always knew Sarge had potential.  He has been known as the best harmonica player in Elk Falls, Kansas for many years.

Thanks to all.  As you know, 12 String, I am the only harmonica player in Elk Falls. In winning at any contest, the accomplishment and stature of the win is based on the competition.  The competition that I faced in this contest made my win a great accomplishment.  We have some skilled players at the bean.

I told a friend of mine that I was second in the harmonica championship, and his response was "were there 2 people in it"?
