John Costas won it.
He didn't want to give it up to be a pass around trophy.
Rules For A Good Bean:
1) Try all foods offered.
2) Step out of your comfort zone.
3) Plan on naps.

He was proud of it. He even had his wife paint it.

I agree with a 5 minute limit, including "  hello,Musical Masochists -- my Name is Gus  I am going to play the theme from Debbie Does Dallas "   the time being   controlled by someone at the amplifier by use of the on off switch or volume control,,
and the  actual playing portion  should be  firm at 3 minutes of the permissable 5  minutes of live mic

Other than problem of  wearing out the judges, emcce and sound guy .. I do not think there should be a limit on the number of contestants.. if the judges could endure it, I would not care if the thing went on all day

I also think there should be categories for playing under the influence of various creative aids one for  . ingested one for  inhaled..

5 minutes doesn't give enough time to show one's skill on a harmonica.
Wisdom does not always come with old age. Sometimes old age arrives all by itself.

Really ?
I sure make my judgement  long before 5 minutes is up,
I assume the player has given it his best shot by then
and after 4 minutes of a less than stellar performance He has likely lost my attention

If not, then why not, then why has he had me listen to 4 minutes or more of something else?
