Bruce,
I just read a Bill Monroe Campground article that said that if you do not designate an alternate time to camp in 2020 your camping charges will become a credit for next year. When and if a reschedule of the Bean gets posted. I understand it to say that you will have to re-reserve your campsite and you can apply the credit then. sounds like they may have received a lot of complaints and made some sort of compromise. I know we are Good Sam members and when we could not get anywhere with the campground we sounded off to Good Sam. Hope Donna is improving and doing well.

I filled out the form. I opted to keep my reservation and will be camping in my usual spot in August 2020. According to the form, if you do nothing by August 7th, your site will automatically be reserved for next year. Only one box to check, that you plan to camp this year. So far, looks like John S, Neil and I will be the Far Side for this year. No Duck Chicken. I printed out the rules of the campground, it will be different than the fest. There will be campers who come to camp, not play or listen to music, Likely families. Of note in the many rules, no more than 6 people at a time at any site. No loud music or noise after 10pm, quiet time from 10pm to 7am (strictly enforced), No one allowed to come into or cross a site without permission. No go carts, mini bikes, 4 wheelers allowed. Golf carts are available to rent, if you bring your own their is a 5.00 registration fee. and more... Anyone violating rules will be escorted out. So, different. I have noticed some facebook posts advertising jam sites. Looks like it will have to happen early.

Looking forward to camping at the end of the month. I sure hope a few guitar players show up. I understand why a lot of folks are not coming, everyone wants to be safe. I'll abide by the rules, if too many people get too rowdy, too close, I'll retreat to my tent. I see that one vendor has committed to come, I think I will still plan on cooking. Neil and I camped last month, we stayed away from most folks, but still managed to jam a bit.

I won't be there. Saving for next year.

Unfortunately Joe and I will not be there as well. All that’s going, have fun and party like Shaggs would 😊
