Looks like it has been more than 4 years since anyone posted about harmonicas. Curious. What have y'all been playing in the last 4 years? Jamming, playing at home, open mics, playing with friends or a band? What songs, techniques are you working on?

I'm still playing and putting songs on youtube. I went into a studio and made a cd of old time harmonica music. Just me playing and the sound of my foot tapping. It turned out pretty good and since it was just me playing once through on each song it didn't cost too much in studio time.  Danny G and Harmonica Bruce have designed a new harmonica which is really nice. It's called the Caberet and should be on Danny's site before long.

I'm off to practice with G-Force Paul and Garry. BHM blues band. We're playing a week from Friday at a wine bar. Play there often. Practicing with the Whobilados at the end of January and have 4 gigs in February. A little slow for the Whobilados, out front man goes to Florida for the winter but makes it up for the occasional gig. Neil is in town working on his brothers house and re-working one of our bathrooms. We jammed out on Mondy and will probably hit a few open mics while he is here. Our ukulele club, the Indy Ukers, meet twice a month to jam and prepare for the occasional gig. Going to the Brown County uke fest in Nashville, IN in 2 weeks. This is a good sampling of my playing. Getting warmed up for Our Thing in March.
