Hi all. I've been mostly off-grid lately due to work and business. I wanted to share my latest idea and get some feedback from you guys.

I've designed and 3D printed dividers to keep your harmonicas separated and organized in the Musician's Friend and Fender cases. If you don't mind, please give the short video below a watch and let me know what you think about the idea.

Thanks,

That is an excellent idea!!!

Good Jim. Much more user friendly. It'd be nice if you could add another layer of harps and make it stackable. 2 trays of harps.

Neil,
The cases come with two stacked trays. I plan on selling the dividers as a pair - one for each tray.

Jim, what a great idea! I am always looking for improvements to my harp case. With minimal options out there for custom cases you have to get creative with what's on the open market.

The only minor setback I see here is going from 10 to 8 harps per row. I imagine that was done for better retrieval and return.

I would be happy to give them the Shaggy Extreme Harp Case Test 😉... or just purchase some prototypes.

Shag,

Email me a bottle.blues@yahoo.com and I'll get you a prototype to test out. I really appreciate you doing this. Thanks!

You're right about the 10 harps reduced to 8. There wasn't room for the dividers with 10 harps. With 9 harps its a tight squeeze. 8 was just right. With two trays you get 16 total - enough for most people.

I'm still optimizing, but I should be ready to ship something in a week or so. The typical engineering trade offs between amount of plastic, cost, 3D print time, and strength. Also adjusting temperatures on the 3D printer extruder to get the ABS to stick together better.
