Neil and I camped at West Boggs Lake Park last weekend for a one day blues concert, 3 bands. Good social distancing at the concert, lots of folks just stayed in their golf carts. Not so much at the one and only BBQ vendor, long line all day. Someone walked up to the lead singer and she took a sip from a wine bottle, that made me cringe! Campground was sold out, so packed. Some folks stayed to themselves, others, not so much. Sites were big enough that it wasn't a problem for us. Some wore masks, others none. I was careful not to get too close to anyone but never felt uneasy, nice to be outside and listening to music again.

Did any, most, all of you notice that I typo'd Grand for Grant in the first post?  I just noticed it now.  Well, I am not going to edit it, after all I think Grant is Grand anyway!

Bean Blossom 2020. There seems to be a lot of discussion about the ability of the park to facilitate a safe festival. I'm still planning to go, I know many of you are not. For those going, my 2 cents worth. Let's consider some guidelines. In Indiana currently, cases are rising, so the governor has asked for extra caution, not fully open yet. Here are some ideas I'm considering. I plan to bring my own chair to any campsite I go, I will not sit in anyone elses' chair. I will not share food or drink. If a crowd gathers, I will wear a mask. If I feel uncomfortable I will leave. I don't know if we are going to be able to host big jams as in the past. This is going to be different. I'd like to hear your ideas.

All events cancelled at Bill Monroe for 2020. I contacted the park, I was told camping is still permitted. I was advised to let them know if I wanted to keep my reservation. Who's in?
