Just an FYI concerning jam gear.  I have lightened my load and sold nearly all my equipment.  That means I won't have the a PA this year.  Just bringing a guitar and the Roland cube.  I am sure someone else has a PA laying around to fill the void.

SO... When does the next wave of new equipment arrive?

Nothing new in the plans. I am doing a 0:1 or at a maximum 1:1 sale: replacement method.  The goal is to leave little for others to deal with when I go to the big jam in the sky.  We are still selling off Paul's massive musical materials.   I do have my eyes on a uke bass as soon as somebody buys my Epiphone Masterbuilt Olympic f-hole guitar.  That would be a  1:1 situation there.

My fantasy Shag is the Woodie Guthrie thing, old beat up Kalamazoo guitar, a pair of worn out work shoes, and the open road.

I like that plan. I only by what I will play. If it becomes a wall fixture or collectible (basically not played or used). It’s sold or replaced.

I still have Paulies' Carvin PA. if you think it is needed for the Weds. open mic at Far Side. Can't imagine it will be needed elsewhere.

For any smaller situations other than the Wed night jam, I will have a small (10 watt I think) PA, battery powered with a wireless mike.  Helpful when a number of people are playing acoustically and vocalists can't be heard.

Smaller PA is good. We can jam at lower volume and it'll work better anyway. Looking forward to it!

So I won't need to bring a PA for the singers. I'll just bring the 2 - 6X10 Harpking amps I bought from Piazza for harps.
